Establishment of the Council for reviewing documentary and scientific film scripts using the state budget of Dien Bien province, term 2025 - 2027

The People's Committee of Dien Bien province has just issued Decision No. 1738/QD-UBND on the establishment of the Council for reviewing documentary and scientific film scripts using the state budget of Dien Bien province, term 2025 - 2027. This is a follow-up activity after the Council for the term 2023 - 2025 has completed its tasks according to regulations.

Accordingly, the Council for Appraisal of Documentary and Scientific Film Scripts Using the State Budget of Dien Bien Province, term 2025 - 2027, consists of 07 members, chaired by Mr. Nguyen Minh Phu - Director of the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism. The members are representatives of specialized departments of the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism, press agencies, propaganda agencies and the cinema sector in the province.

The Council is responsible for advising the Provincial People's Committee in appraising scripts for documentaries and scientific films using the state budget, to ensure the content has artistic quality, authenticity, accuracy and is consistent with the orientation of propaganda, education , preservation and development of local culture.

The Council operates on a part-time basis, using human resources and facilities of specialized agencies to perform its tasks. If necessary, the Council may invite directors, screenwriters, organizations, individuals, and people with knowledge in related fields to participate in evaluating content.

The establishment of the Appraisal Council in the new period demonstrates Dien Bien province's interest in developing cinema and visual communication, especially in promoting the province's cultural identity, history, people and development potential to the public at home and abroad.
