Based on the assigned targets, in the first 9 months of 2024, the labor federations of districts, towns, cities, industry unions, and the Quang Tri Provincial Civil Servants' Trade Union mobilized the establishment of 23 new grassroots unions and admitted 401 union members to these unions; admitted 1,411 union members in places where there were already grassroots unions.
In the last months of 2024, the Provincial Federation of Labor will continue to promote the role and responsibility in leading and directing units to effectively implement the work of developing union members and establishing grassroots unions. At the same time, coordinate to develop a working plan with enterprises with a large number of workers who are not union members to propagate, mobilize, and attract new union members.
