The Thanh Mien District OCOP Product Evaluation and Classification Council has just recognized 6 3-star OCOP products. These products are: Hai An clean chicken eggs, Dinh Phat honey (in Doan Ket commune); Hung Son sesame and peanut rice paper (Thanh Tung commune); Tam Anh green onions (Pham Kha commune); Ong Tien clean duck eggs (Tan Trao commune) and Trong Tuan honey (Lam Son commune). These are all products participating in the evaluation and classification for the first time.
The Council evaluates products of good quality, clearly demonstrating the characteristics of each locality. Subjects need to increase promotion, build brands and enhance product value.
After 4 years of implementing the "One Commune One Product" (OCOP) project, Thanh Mien district currently has 16 products recognized as meeting OCOP standards, including 15 3-star products and 1 4-star product. The locality is supporting 10 million VND/product that achieves 3-star OCOP certification or higher. All funding is drawn from the district budget.
