NDO – 2024 is the 14th consecutive year that Da Nang city has topped the ICT Index rankings. This is a great effort by the Da Nang city government in developing infrastructure, applying information technology to operations, and connecting digital infrastructure.

According to the report on component indexes in the ICT Index 2023, recently announced by the Department of Information Technology and Communications Industry ( Ministry of Information and Communications ) in coordination with the Vietnam Association of Information Technology, the indexes of Da Nang city include: Technical infrastructure index 0.7908 points (ranked 2nd/63 provinces and cities); Human resources infrastructure index 0.7892 points (ranked 2nd/63); Information technology application index 0.9655 points (ranked 1st/63).
With a score of 0.8485, Da Nang city continues to top the Vietnam ICT Index.
In the technical infrastructure index of Da Nang city, the technical-social infrastructure index is 0.07915 points (3/63 provinces and cities) and the technical-state agency infrastructure index is 0.7901 points (2/63 provinces and cities).

The next positions on the ICT Index 2023 rankings are Can Tho (0.6881 points), Quang Ninh (0.6514 points), Bac Ninh (0.664 points). At the bottom of the list is Phu Yen with only 0.1993 points.
The annual ICT Index report provides assessments and rankings of readiness for the development and application of information and communication technology based on data collected from the following sectors: ministries, ministerial-level agencies, government agencies; provinces and centrally run cities; economic groups, corporations and commercial banks.
