Thai Binh City: Meeting with specialized organizations and professional social associations

On the morning of June 27, the People's Committee of Thai Binh city held a meeting with representatives of 21 specialized associations and professional social associations operating in the area.

In recent times, the activities of association organizations in the city have been ensured and achieved practical results; most of the leaders and members are enthusiastic and responsible for association work. The activities of associations have contributed positively to the socio -economic development of the locality. Association organizations have focused on the role of gathering, uniting, promoting the strength of members, ensuring democracy, creating conditions for members to develop their potential and creativity; protecting the legitimate and legal rights and interests of members, union members, and the community; being an active factor in implementing social activities in the fields of education, health, culture, sports, environmental protection, poverty reduction, people's health care, and building civilized urban areas.

Speaking at the meeting, the leaders of the City People's Committee informed the specialized associations and professional social associations about the situation and outstanding results in the fields of economy, culture, society, national defense, security, Party building and the political system that the city has achieved in the past time; the progress and preparations for the completion of district-level administrative units, the arrangement of commune-level administrative units, and the organization of two-level local governments in the city. The city leaders hope that with their intelligence and experience, the leaders and members of the specialized associations and professional social associations will continue to contribute together with the Party Committee, government and people of the new ward to build their homeland to develop more and more.
