The global semiconductor industry is on a strong growth trajectory, forecast to reach a value of trillions of USD by 2030. Vietnam is an attractive destination with the presence of corporations such as Intel, Samsung, Amkor, Hana Micron. By 2030, Vietnam will need about 50,000 semiconductor engineers, while the quality of current human resources still cannot meet the actual needs of businesses.

Mr. Truong Gia Bao, Chairman of SEVINA, emphasized: "The shortage of human resources is not only a problem for businesses, but also for the entire ecosystem. The alliance was established to create a proactive and systematic approach, connecting training organizations and businesses to act together".

SEVINA is expected to be a bridge between schools - businesses - policies, with the mission of building a sustainable cooperation platform, training and developing a team of engineers - technicians ready to join the global supply chain.
