According to the official dispatch of the Department of Education and Training, from today, schools will temporarily suspend all joint activities to await instructions from all levels on the preparation, review, approval and implementation of projects on using public assets for joint ventures and partnerships.
The Department also requested schools to inform parents about the suspension of these activities. "If the school principal arbitrarily implements joint activities without ensuring compliance with regulations, he/she will be responsible to the head of the Department of Education and Training and the District People's Committee," the document stated.

Previously, Tam Hung A Kindergarten (Thanh Oai, Hanoi ) organized extracurricular programs during regular school hours, and students who did not register for classes had to temporarily leave the classroom and go to another room or sit in the school yard, causing many parents to be upset.
Thus, in Hanoi, in addition to Thanh Tri and Soc Son districts, which had previously issued instructions, Thanh Oai district has now requested to temporarily stop teaching joint classes and extracurricular activities.
Mr. Dao Tan Ly - Head of Primary Education Department, Hanoi Department of Education and Training - once requested that schools absolutely not insert joint teaching hours into the main curriculum if not 100% of students voluntarily register to participate.
The school's regular classes must not be cut or reduced. The school must assign teachers to fulfill the teaching quota. When the program and teacher quota have been fully implemented, there is still free time to organize extracurricular activities.
The Hanoi Department of Education and Training requires district, town and city education and training departments to thoroughly inform each school that the organization of extracurricular educational activities must ensure the spirit of voluntariness.
The principal is responsible for surveying and synthesizing the need to participate in extracurricular activities and developing a plan to implement extracurricular educational activities.
Schools can offer a lot of content and programs, but they should not let students choose all of them. Schools should recommend that students choose 1-2 content to ensure that it is within their ability, not causing pressure on students and causing difficulties for parents.
