On the morning of June 1, the Ho Chi Minh City Photography Association coordinated with other units to launch the photo contest "The Beauty of Lam Ha - Ho Gia Trang" , contributing to promoting tourist destinations in Lam Ha district.
Mr. Doan Hoai Trung - Chairman of the Ho Chi Minh City Photography Association - said Lam Ha is one of the pristine localities, this place is changing every day.
"Through this photo contest, we want to support the promotion of Lam Ha as one of the green tourist destinations, a destination for domestic and foreign tourists.
Photographers also have the opportunity to experience the changing land with new roads, beautiful houses, and magnificent architectural works," Mr. Doan Hoai Trung told Tuoi Tre Online.
The organizers plan to hold a writing camp for members in Lam Ha in August 2024.

Regarding the photo contest for everyone, the organizers encourage works that are momentary, have new perspectives, creative content and are rich in humanity.
These are images of the daily life of ethnic people living in Lam Ha; images of beautiful landscapes such as: Voi waterfall, Lieng Chi Nha waterfall, Thien An pagoda, Ka Don church, Ta Dung, Gia Trang lake, wild sunflowers; harvesting agricultural products such as corn, potatoes, coffee...
Mr. Doan Hoai Trung was elected as the contest's chief judge along with a number of famous photographers who are knowledgeable about Lam Ha land.
"We focus on images that show the national identity and culture, especially the ethnic groups living in Lam Ha; the innovation of Lam Ha today; the beautiful scenery of Lam Ha..." - Mr. Doan Hoai Trung shared the judging criteria.
The total prize value of the Lam Ha - Ho Gia Trang Beauty Photo Contest is over 200 million VND. Of which, the first prize has a total value of 34 million VND (including cash and gifts).

Also this morning, the Ho Chi Minh City Photography Association opened the photo exhibition "The Beauty of Lam Ha - Ho Gia Trang" taken by members of the Ho Chi Minh City Photography Association and a number of photographers in the recent past before the contest was launched.
