Báo Thanh niênBáo Thanh niên10/01/2025

Heart disease is one of the leading causes of death in the world and a real health risk. For people in their 30s, the right exercise can help keep heart disease away.

The period from 30 to 39 years old is the time when many people focus on developing their career, improving their qualifications or starting a family. These pressures make them easily fall into a state of neglecting their health and not taking care of themselves properly, according to the health website Verywell Health (USA).

The first benefit of climbing stairs is to increase the strength and flexibility of the leg muscle groups.

The pressures and stresses of life can take a toll on both the physical and mental health. These factors increase the risk of heart disease, especially in people who drink heavily, smoke, or have an unhealthy diet. As a result, heart disease is becoming younger, even appearing in people in their 20s or 30s.

Lifestyle changes and regular exercise can help young people avoid heart disease. For those who are too busy to exercise, taking the stairs is a good way to improve health and prevent heart disease.

A study published in the journal Atherosclerosis found that climbing 50 stairs a day can reduce the risk of cardiovascular diseases such as stroke, blood clots and heart attacks by up to 20%.

For young people who are too busy, taking the stairs at work, school or office buildings is a great way to exercise. They do not take much time but can still improve and maintain their health regularly.

Research shows that climbing stairs has many health benefits. The first benefit is increased strength and flexibility of the leg muscles. When climbing stairs, the heart rate and breathing speed up, thereby improving blood circulation and respiratory function. If maintained regularly, climbing stairs also helps burn calories, control weight, reduce bad cholesterol levels and regulate blood pressure, according to Verywell Health.
