After the review of the 99th anniversary of Vietnam Revolutionary Press Day, the 2nd Provincial Press Awards Ceremony was held. This year, 44 press works in 4 categories: print, electronic, audio and visual won awards. Each category has 1 first prize, 2 second prizes, 3 third prizes and 5 consolation prizes.
Delegates contributed many ideas to make the meeting more solemn and cozy. It was also an opportunity to encourage and honor reporters, journalists, press agencies, etc. who have strived for the common mission of the province.
Comrade Vu A Bang acknowledged and highly appreciated the role of press and media agencies in recent times, especially during the peak period of propaganda to celebrate the 70th anniversary of Dien Bien Phu Victory; National Tourism Year - Dien Bien and Hoa Ban Festival 2024. With many methods of propaganda on mass media; applying new technology, social networking platforms... the achievements in many areas of socio -economic development, ensuring national defense - security, and foreign affairs of the province over the past 70 years have been quickly and widely spread. The press has also performed well in its function of orienting and criticizing public opinion; promptly encouraging and motivating typical and advanced collectives and individuals in studying and following Ho Chi Minh's ideology, morality, and style.
Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Vu A Bang hopes that in the coming time, news agencies and newspapers will promote their strengths, accompany the entire political system of the province to better perform their tasks. Along with that, journalists enthusiastically participate in journalism competitions; actively research, learn, and exploit more good, new, and attractive topics to reflect to readers and win high prizes.
