On the afternoon of November 23, International University (a member of VNU-HCM) held a ceremony to award graduation certificates to students and honor valedictorians.
As one of two valedictorians honored at the graduation ceremony, Huynh Thi My Anh is a new bachelor of accounting with a score of 92.8/100.
Talking to a reporter from Nguoi Lao Dong Newspaper , My Anh said that 4 years ago, when she was a student at Luong The Vinh High School for the Gifted ( Dong Nai ), she was admitted to the International University with a score of 28.95.
The valedictorian of International University said that the learning methods in high school and university are very different. In high school, students have many tests and teachers closely supervise them, but when entering university, students have to be proactive in their studies. Therefore, in the first semester, because he was not familiar with the method, his learning results were not as expected.
Adapting to the university learning method, in the following semesters I studied documents before going to class and proactively discussed with the lecturer about issues I did not understand.
With good academic achievements, My Anh has been a teaching assistant since her second year, and in her third year she participated in a student cultural exchange in Germany...
A representative of the International University said that My Anh is a rare case because in the past 10 years, only 2 students have maintained a full scholarship throughout the course and My Anh is one of them.
In the 18th graduation ceremony in 2024, International University awarded graduation certificates to 1,234 students, graduate students and postgraduates.
In addition to Huynh Thi My Anh, the school also honored Luu Nguyen Minh Thu, majoring in logistics and supply chain management, with a score of 83.8/100.
