General planning for the construction of Phong Dien Industrial Park, Phong Dien district, with the nature of a multi-industry industrial park, in which priority is given to the development of green, clean, high-tech and environmentally friendly industry.

The approval of the project to adjust the General Planning for the construction of Phong Dien Industrial Park (Phong Dien district); aims to concretize the industrial development project of Thua Thien Hue province approved by the Provincial People's Committee and the socio -economic development orientations of the province, Phong Dien district, policies of the Provincial Party Committee, Thua Thien Hue Provincial People's Committee on investment and development in industrial parks; create synchronization and connection with areas that have been deployed to establish zoning plans to meet the requirements for industrial park development; improve capacity efficiency and maximize the use of land funds; establish concentrated production areas associated with environmental protection, in harmony with landscape architecture and neighboring functional areas.

The planning area is divided into 5 sub-areas, including: Area A, located in the southeast of the planning area, with an area of about 155.77 hectares. The area is arranged for factories, industrial enterprises, light industry, processing industry, manufacturing industry... In which, there is an area for small and medium enterprises, supporting industrial enterprises, innovative enterprises, operating centers, and ancillary services. Priority is given to the development of high-tech industry, clean industry and environmental friendliness.

Area B, located in the northwest of the planning area, with an area of about 90 hectares. The area is arranged for factories, industrial enterprises, light industry, processing industry, manufacturing... In which, there is an area for small and medium enterprises, supporting industry enterprises, innovative enterprises, operating centers, and ancillary services. Priority is given to the development of sand processing industry; high-tech industry, clean and environmentally friendly industry.

Area C, located in the southwest of the planning area, with an area of about 126 hectares. The area is arranged for factories, industrial enterprises; light industry, processing and manufacturing industry... In which, there is an area for small and medium enterprises, supporting industrial enterprises, innovative enterprises, operating centers, and ancillary services. Priority is given to the development of high-tech industry, clean industry and environmentally friendly industry.

Area D, located in the center of the planning area, has an area of 284 hectares. The area is arranged for factories, industrial enterprises; light industry, processing and manufacturing industry... In which, there is an area for small and medium enterprises, supporting industrial enterprises, innovative enterprises, operating centers, and ancillary services. Priority is given to the development of high-tech industry, clean industry and environmentally friendly industry.

Area E, the circulating wastewater treatment area, is located in the Northeast of the planning area, with an area of 43.84 hectares. The area invests in building a wastewater treatment system to collect and treat the entire volume of wastewater from the RO filtration process of the project in the Industrial Park, ensuring that 100% of the wastewater is collected and treated without being discharged into the environment.

The planning and adjustment area is divided into 5 sub-areas with full functions such as: Operation area, production workshop area, technical infrastructure area, service area with public utilities to serve workers working in the industrial park; green park... suitable for the architectural landscape space of the neighboring area, protecting the ecological environment and sustainable development.
