On the morning of June 30, many people lined up to buy social housing at Blocks A and B of the Apartment project for low-income people in An Trung 2 residential area (Son Tra district, Da Nang city).
At the application submission location (1st floor, Vinh Trung Plaza Building, 255-257 Hung Vuong, Thanh Khe District), a long line of people stretched out to Ong Ich Khiem Street, waiting to go inside to submit their home purchase applications. Traffic police and local police were also present to direct traffic and ensure security in the area.
Although the announcement to receive applications was made this morning, since yesterday afternoon, hundreds of people have lined up to buy social housing at An Trung 2.

It is worth mentioning that although the announcement clearly stated that the time to receive applications is from 8:15 a.m. on June 30 to the end of July 22, many people said they were present from 2:00 p.m. on June 29 to line up and wait to submit their applications.
However, by this morning, the number of people coming was so large that the above location "collapsed", the organizing committee switched to the form of lining up to get an appointment number to submit the application.
Having been stuck in line since 2pm yesterday until this morning, Ms. TTDM (residing in Thanh Khe district) said she had stayed up all night to save a spot. However, at around 5am this morning, some people got into a fight, forcing the organizers to invite everyone out of the building, and Ms. M. had to line up again from the beginning.
As a result, at 9am this morning, after nearly 19 hours of waiting, Ms. M. was able to get a queue number of nearly 400, scheduled to submit her application on the afternoon of July 1. "Everyone was jostling and pushing, the scene was chaotic. The company's security guards were powerless in organizing the work. Buying low-income social housing is so difficult," Ms. M. was upset.

Similarly, Ms. Nguyen Thi Hong (residing in Son Tra district, Da Nang city) said that she also waited in line all night. However, this morning when she had to wait in line again, Ms. Hong was exhausted and stood helplessly to one side in front of the increasingly long line.
"I stayed up all night waiting, and near dawn, a group of people rushed in from outside, jostling to get a place. Women like me had no choice but to endure it, we couldn't stand it" - Ms. Hong recounted.
The Apartment Project for low-income people in An Trung 2 Residential Area is invested by the DMC-579 joint venture. This time, the investor opened for sale 633 apartments, with prices starting from 16.2 million VND/m2.
In case the total number of applications for purchase is greater than the total number of apartments for sale, the review and selection of buyers will be by lottery, organized by the investor, with the participation and supervision of a representative of the Department of Construction.
An Trung 2 Social Housing is currently the most popular project in Da Nang because of its low price and prime location. Although only 633 units are for sale, the number of purchase applications has reached thousands.
