At the ceremony, authorized by the Minister of Public Security, Colonel Nguyen Thanh Tuan - Director of Hue City Police presented the Decision of the Minister of Public Security on the transfer and appointment of Lieutenant Colonel Nguyen Viet Hoang - Head of Thuan Hoa District Police (Hue City) to hold the position of Deputy Director of Hue City Police.

Speaking at the ceremony, Colonel Nguyen Thanh Tuan congratulated Lieutenant Colonel Nguyen Viet Hoang, Deputy Director of Hue City Police, on being honored to be entrusted with a new task by the Central Party Committee of the Public Security and the leaders of the Ministry of Public Security. He also emphasized that Lieutenant Colonel Nguyen Viet Hoang received basic training, worked in many positions and matured from the grassroots, had a strong political stance, good moral qualities, was exemplary and had high prestige.

Colonel Nguyen Thanh Tuan expressed his confidence that with his mettle and working experience, in his new position, Senior Lieutenant Colonel Nguyen Viet Hoang and the Party Committee and Board of Directors of Hue City Police will focus on leading and directing all aspects of police work, contributing to ensuring political security, social order and safety; excellently completing the political tasks assigned by the Central Public Security Party Committee, leaders of the Ministry of Public Security, City Party Committee, People's Council and People's Committee of Hue City; creating a stable environment of security and order for local socio-economic development.

Lieutenant Colonel Nguyen Viet Hoang (50 years old) is from Phong Thu commune, Phong Dien town, Hue city. Before being appointed as Deputy Director of Hue City Police, Lieutenant Colonel Nguyen Viet Hoang had held many positions such as Head of Phu Loc District Police, Head of Hue City Police (old), and Head of Thuan Hoa District Police.
