On the morning of September 4, Standing member of the Secretariat and Head of the Central Organizing Committee Truong Thi Mai attended the opening ceremony at the Van Yen District Ethnic Boarding Secondary School ( Yen Bai province), a school recognized as meeting the standards of a Happy School.

Also attending the opening ceremony were Minister of Home Affairs Pham Thi Thanh Tra, Secretary of Yen Bai Provincial Party Committee Do Duc Duy, representatives of central and local ministries, departments and agencies, and all teachers and students of the school.

At the opening ceremony, Ms. Trieu Thi Thu Huong - principal of Van Yen District Ethnic Boarding Secondary School - said that after more than 30 years of construction and development, nearly 7,000 students have grown up from this school, many of whom hold important positions in agencies, departments, and branches of the province, district, and localities.

In recent years, the school has maintained a stable size of 8 classes, 280 students from the Tay, Dao, Mong, Xa Pho, Muong ethnic groups...

According to Ms. Huong, the school has always paid regular attention to improving the quality of education and has achieved important results, maintaining a stable position in the top position in terms of comprehensive education quality and key education quality compared to other schools in the district.

In particular, in the past school year, the school was honored to be recognized by the Department of Education and Training as meeting the standards of " Happy School ".
