Taking place from August 6 to 8, the Congress of the Party Committee of the 969th Union has the task of assessing the results of the implementation of the Resolution of the 969th Union Party Congress for the 2020-2025 term; determining the directions, goals, breakthroughs and leadership solutions for the 2025-2030 term; reviewing the leadership work of the Party Committee of the 969th Union; discussing and contributing opinions to the draft documents of the Central Executive Committee to be submitted to the 14th National Congress of Delegates and the draft documents of the 12th Congress of the Party Committee of the Army; electing the Executive Committee of the 969th Union Party Committee for the 2025-2030 term, and electing delegates to attend the 12th Army Party Congress.

Speaking at the congress, on behalf of the leaders of the General Department of Politics of the Vietnam People's Army, Senior Lieutenant General Le Quang Minh highly appreciated and congratulated the achievements and results that the Party Committee of Group 969 had achieved in the 2020-2025 term. Emphasizing the 5 outstanding advantages in the leadership and direction of the Party Committee of Group 969 in the past term, Senior Lieutenant General Le Quang Minh pointed out: In the 2020-2025 term, the Party Committee of Group 969 has well performed its advisory function to the Party, State, Central Military Commission, and Ministry of National Defense on the task of long-term preservation and absolute safety protection of President Ho Chi Minh's body. Effectively deploy the Plan to implement Conclusion 308 of the Central Military Commission Standing Committee on continuing to implement Resolution 122 of the Central Military Commission Standing Committee "Leading the implementation of the task of long-term preservation, absolute protection of the safety of President Ho Chi Minh's body and promoting the political and cultural significance of the Mausoleum in the new period".
