Kinhtedo thi - According to information from the National Assembly Office, the 39th session of the National Assembly Standing Committee will take place from November 14 to 15 to review and give opinions on 12 contents.
According to the meeting agenda, on November 14, the National Assembly Standing Committee will consider and decide on the arrangement of district and commune-level administrative units for the 2023-2025 period of 12 provinces and cities: An Giang, Dong Thap, Ha Nam, Hanoi, Ha Tinh, Ho Chi Minh City, Phu Tho, Son La, Quang Ngai, Quang Tri, Tra Vinh , Vinh Phuc.
During the meeting, the National Assembly Standing Committee gave opinions on explaining, accepting and revising the draft laws: Value Added Tax (amended); Law amending and supplementing a number of articles of the Law on Officers of the Vietnam People's Army; Law on Electricity (amended); Law on Public Investment (amended); Law amending and supplementing a number of articles of the Law on Health Insurance; Law on Notarization (amended); Law on Geology and Minerals; Law on Data; Law amending and supplementing a number of articles of the Law on Securities, Law on Accounting, Law on Independent Audit, Law on State Budget, Law on Management and Use of Public Assets, Law on Tax Administration, Law on National Reserves.
The session also considered a number of resolutions to implement the Law on Organization of People's Courts in 2024 and gave opinions on submitting to the National Assembly for approval the proposal to appoint judges of the Supreme People's Court; and considered and approved the draft Resolution on appointing members of the National Council for Selection and Supervision of Judges.
