According to Dr. Ngo Hong Diep, Vice Principal of the school, this tool is expected to improve the efficiency of information provision, enhance interaction, support 24/7 admission and career counseling, and promote comprehensive digital transformation in admissions by 2025.

The Admissions Assistant is developed by Thu Dau Mot University on the open source Large Language Model (LLM) platform, integrated with the internal database system and regularly updated to ensure the timeliness and accuracy of information.
This tool applies natural language processing (NLP) technology, allowing flexible interaction with users and providing appropriate answers in many different contexts.
The Admissions Assistant is designed with outstanding features such as: the ability to communicate intelligently in natural language, ensuring the safety and security of user data, and the ability to expand, upgrade, and integrate easily with other software systems.
In the coming time, Thu Dau Mot University will continue to develop the TDMU Admissions Assistant system with extended features such as: virtual tutoring, learning support, measurement and evaluation of learning outcomes.
