Ha Tinh province met and congratulated Dinh Cao Son for winning the gold medal at the International Chemistry Olympiad.

On the afternoon of July 27, at Ha Tinh High School for the Gifted, Ha Tinh province held a meeting to congratulate Dinh Cao Son, who had just won the Gold Medal at the 2023 International Chemistry Olympiad.

At the 2023 International Chemistry Olympiad (IChO) hosted by Switzerland in the form of a direct competition with a total of 360 contestants from 90 countries and territories around the world participating. As a result, the Vietnamese team won 3 gold medals and 1 silver medal. Of which, Dinh Cao Son - Grade 12 Chemistry, Ha Tinh High School for the Gifted won the gold medal, was the contestant with the highest score in the Vietnam Chemistry Olympiad team and ranked 7th in the world .

This is the second time Ha Tinh has had students win prizes at the International Chemistry Olympiad.

At the meeting, Vice Chairman of Ha Tinh Provincial People's Committee, Le Ngoc Chau sent congratulations and praise to Dinh Cao Son, his family and the management team, teachers and students of Ha Tinh Specialized High School.

On this occasion, the Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee also requested that the Education and Training sector continue to strongly innovate, focusing on improving comprehensive quality, fully developing the necessary qualities and capacities for students.

The spiritual and material attention over the past time has helped him overcome difficulties to achieve proud achievements.
