On July 14, according to the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Quang Tri province, the People's Committee of this province has issued a document agreeing to deploy a low-altitude fireworks display program at Bao Ninh 1 Urban Area and Bao Ninh beach, Dong Hoi ward.
This is the first summer fireworks display in Quang Tri to attract tourists, promote the development of the night-time economy and create a vibrant atmosphere for the people. The program is also part of a series of events to celebrate the 80th anniversary of the August Revolution and National Day on September 2.

The fireworks display is accompanied by cultural, artistic, sports and culinary activities to enhance the experience for tourists when coming to Quang Tri this summer.
According to the plan, fireworks will be launched at two fixed time frames: 7:00 p.m. - 7:05 p.m. on July 19 and August 2 at Bao Ninh beach; 9:00 p.m. - 9:05 p.m. on July 26, August 9, August 23 and September 2 at Bao Ninh 1 Urban Area.
Towards Independence Day, Quang Tri province will also organize a traditional boat racing and rowing festival on Kien Giang river.
