Duong Edward's representative also shared: "In regards to Mr. Hoang Tuan wanting me to pay the fees as he mentioned in the article, I have authorized my lawyer. My lawyer and I will respond when we receive an official request from Mr. Hoang Tuan. Currently, Mr. Tuan is talking on the phone and posting on his personal Facebook. My lawyer and I have not yet determined that these are official opinions. I am not a copyright and legal expert, so I have authorized my lawyer for all matters.

With this incident, let the court and the lawyers of the parties handle it. It's not like saying whoever violates is the one who violates." The representative of the singer born in 1992 affirmed: "HT Productions has filed a lawsuit, so I am very happy to meet Mr. Hoang Tuan in court to resolve it once and for all."

According to information provided by Mr. Hoang Tuan, Duong Edward was sued by singer Dan Truong's management company for using the lyrics of the song Mong Uyen Uong Ho Diep without permission. "Copyright is a song that includes the author's rights, the singer's personal rights, and the rights to the lyrics as well as the music. Here, we only complain about the lyrics and are not responsible for the music." In his latest post on the evening of November 1, Hoang Tuan said he had talked to Duong Edward and commented that the singer was polite and courteous. "If Duong Edward's side pays all the legal fees, we will withdraw the lawsuit. In case the male singer continues to use the Vietnamese lyrics of the song Mong Uyen Uong Ho Diep on the YouTube channel, you will have to pay copyright fees of 2 million/year, from the time of posting."

In the previous discussion, Duong Edward's representative said that he had discussed with the company holding the copyright of the original work in China and received information that no unit exclusively owns the song Mong Uyen Uong Ho Diep in Vietnam.

Duong Edward's real name is Nguyen Tung Duong, born in 1992. He studied music and performed at HammerSmith College, London, England. The male singer became famous for covering many international and domestic songs such as: I'm Yours, Price Tag; Rain on the love story; Unrequited love ... In 2021, he attracted attention with the project Khuc hoa tinh including 15 cover songs.
