In 2000, Mr. Clinton dined at the upscale Bukharam restaurant in New Dehli, India. Here, the former US President enjoyed a special dish of lamb, tandoori chicken, lentils and toast.

This dish was so impressive that Mr. Clinton returned to the restaurant three times to enjoy it.

Since then, the Bukharam restaurant and Indian media have dubbed the dish the "Presidential meal".

In 2004, Mr. Clinton tried hot dogs at a roadside stand in Reykjavik, Iceland. Thanks to the former US President, the stand quickly became famous around the world.

The stall owner shared: "When I saw Mr. Clinton on the street, I shouted loudly, 'We have the best hot dogs in the world'. He then happily came over to us and enjoyed it."

As an energetic and vibrant President, Mr. Obama does not hesitate to enjoy simple street food when traveling abroad.

In 2015, Mr. Obama surprised many when he shared a beer and sausage with German Chancellor Angela Merkel at 11am. The two leaders visited the village of Krun on the sidelines of the G7 Summit that year, and the White House later revealed that Mr. Obama and Ms. Merkel drank a non-alcoholic beer.

In 2016, Mr. Obama visited Vietnam and ate bun cha with the late famous chef Antony Bourdain. The popular bun cha restaurant in Hanoi was later dubbed "Bun Cha Obama" by the online community and became extremely famous.

Former President Donald Trump

Mr Trump is a big fan of steak, fast food and ketchup. During his first foreign visit to Saudi Arabia, the former US President was treated to his favourite medium rare steak.

When he visited Japan in 2017, Trump opted against sushi like other foreign leaders, opting instead for his favorite dish. At a famous teppanyaki restaurant, Trump was treated to a menu of scallops, steak, and chocolate ice cream.

During the same visit, Mr. Trump and Prime Minister Abe enjoyed hamburgers from fast food brand Munch's Burger Shack, of course with ketchup.
