Toyota offers 115 scholarships to engineering students

NDO - In 2024, Toyota Vietnam awarded 115 scholarships with a total value of 690 million VND to excellent engineering students from 18 universities.


On December 5, Toyota Vietnam Automobile Company coordinated with the Ministry of Education and Training to launch and award Toyota Technical Scholarships to excellent students of technical universities.

This is an annual program of Toyota Vietnam in the field of Education, Training and Human Resource Development to support and encourage the learning spirit of students, thereby contributing to the cause of education, training and human resource development of the country.

The Toyota Technical Scholarship Program has been implemented by Toyota Vietnam since 1997, aiming to develop human resources for Vietnam's industry. This year, Toyota awarded 115 scholarships with a total value of 690 million VND to excellent students majoring in Mechanics, Engineering and Environment from 18 universities across the country.

In addition, with the desire to support and improve the learning and training conditions of students, this year's program also donated 3 engines, 1 steering shaft and 1 Vios compressor; 2 engines and 1 Avanza gearbox; 2 Corolla Altis power steering and 1 Yaris Cross gearbox to 7 colleges training in Automotive Engineering Technology to serve the teaching work of the schools.

To date, after 28 years of implementation, the program has awarded a total of more than 3,000 scholarships, of which many students who received scholarships have joined Toyota, the dealer system and made significant contributions to the company. At the same time, the program has awarded more than 200 pieces of equipment (cars, assemblies such as engines, gearboxes, etc.) to schools.
