On the afternoon of February 24, the delegation of Tam Ky City attended the ceremony of attaching a signboard and receiving funding to support the investment in the construction of Tam Ky Park (Trieu Son town) organized by the People's Committee of Trieu Son district to celebrate the 60th anniversary of the district's establishment.
The project is built on an area of about 2.7 hectares with a total investment of 19.5 billion VND, of which Tam Ky City supports 2 billion VND, Trieu Son district budget more than 17 billion VND. The project includes main items such as the central flagpole of the square; traffic roads; power supply system, lighting, water supply and drainage, parking lot; sports equipment...
The project is a symbol of the spirit of cooperation and solidarity between Trieu Son district and Tam Ky city; creating green space, entertainment and sports areas for people and a place to organize local cultural and sports events; contributing to the development of the landscape architecture space of Trieu Son district in a modern direction.
It is known that during the fierce war, Trieu Son district mobilized thousands of young men and women to volunteer to go to the battlefields of the South and Quang Nam , including Tam Ky, to participate in the struggle to liberate the South and unify the country.
Since the complete liberation of the South, the Party Committee and people of Trieu Son - Tam Ky have always maintained solidarity and close ties, showing deep and incomparable loyalty.
During the visit, on the morning of February 25, Tam Ky City donated 100 million VND to support Trieu Son district in eliminating temporary houses; and presented 15 gifts to officers and soldiers who had fought in the Quang Nam battlefield (each gift worth 3 million VND and a gift).
