At the ceremony, delegates reviewed the heroic tradition of Vietnamese youth volunteers in the two long resistance wars of the nation, actively contributing to the cause of building and defending the Fatherland and developing the country's economy and society.
Secretary of the Central Youth Union and President of the Vietnam Student Association Nguyen Minh Triet emphasized that the dedication and sacrifice in the fight for national independence, labor to build and protect the country of former youth volunteers over the past 75 years will always be an example for generations of young people to follow. With the philosophy of remembering the source of water when drinking, many policies and regimes for the youth volunteer force have also been issued.
At the ceremony, the organizers presented gifts to 50 former youth volunteers in difficult circumstances; and awarded the "Glorious Youth Volunteer" Medal to 22 former youth volunteers.
Within the framework of central-level activities, in addition to presenting gifts, from June to August 2025, in response to the movement "Eliminating temporary and dilapidated houses", the Central Youth Union and accompanying units presented 26 charity houses, worth 1.82 billion VND to former youth volunteers in the provinces and cities: Phu Tho, Quang Tri, Thai Nguyen, Nghe An, Da Nang , Tay Ninh, Quang Ngai.
