Up to now, the "For the Poor" Fund at all levels in the province has received and registered to support over 15 billion VND. From the fund, the province has supported the construction of 127 solidarity houses for poor and near-poor households with difficult housing circumstances; supported Tet gifts, scholarships for poor but studious students, and supported livelihoods... Implementing the Housing Support Project for poor and near-poor households in the period of 2023-2025, the Standing Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the province has developed a plan to support 1,243 houses. Of which, the implementation roadmap in 2023 is 243 houses; in 2024, 500 houses; in 2025, 500 houses. The support level comes from social mobilization sources, support from the provincial budget (career capital) and counterpart capital of households; The value of each house supported for construction is at least 100,000,000 VND/house.

At the meeting, delegates contributed many ideas related to the work of mobilizing support for housing construction for poor households; supporting land allocation for house construction; payment settlement; designing housing models suitable for living conditions and customs of local people...
Speaking at the meeting, Comrade Nguyen Long Bien, member of the Provincial Party Committee, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee agreed with and highly appreciated the plan to implement the Project to support housing for poor and near-poor households in the period of 2023-2025 chaired by the Standing Committee of the Provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee. With the highest goal of caring for and supporting the construction of houses for poor and near-poor households, he requested departments, branches and localities to coordinate to ensure the smooth implementation of the project, assigning the Department of Labor - Invalids and Social Affairs to focus on coordinating with localities to review and support the right subjects; localities have policies to convert and supplement land planning in accordance with regulations to have legal land funds to build houses for poor and near-poor households with the determination to complete the set goals.
Speaking at the meeting, the Chairman of the Provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee requested the Provincial People's Committee to coordinate with the Provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee to mobilize resources to implement the project; the local Fronts should take advantage of the leadership of the Party Committees, coordinate with the authorities to mobilize resources for implementation; take responsibility for the list of poor and near-poor households receiving support for housing construction in the area to ensure the right subjects and regulations, especially including the functional branches of the province to urgently coordinate in accordance with their functions and tasks. Organize the inspection and supervision of housing construction implementation and the management and use of funding sources to ensure compliance with the provisions of law.
