Special exhibition "Central Highlands Gongs - Connecting Heritage Regions"

From November 4-30, Dak Lak Museum in collaboration with Hung Vuong Museum ( Phu Tho ) organized the thematic exhibition "Central Highlands Gongs - Connecting Heritage Lands" (Exhibition) at Hung Vuong Museum, Viet Tri city, Phu Tho province.

Delegates and visitors visit the exhibition.

The exhibition brings together 150 documents, images, and artifacts, introducing two main contents: Ancient Central Highlands gong music; Gong music in modern life, giving the public an overview of the gong orchestra, the context of gong music , gong playing customs as well as the gong cultural space from the past to the present, full of vitality, closely associated with the rituals and festivals of the Central Highlands residents. From there, connecting and honoring the unique intangible cultural heritage of the nation, raising awareness of preserving cultural heritage in the community, inspiring generations, especially the young generation, encouraging them to continue to preserve and promote the unique cultural values of the nation.

Cultural Heritage Education Activity on the theme "Central Highlands Gong Music".

According to the Organizing Committee, the thematic exhibition "Central Highlands Gongs - Connecting Heritage Areas" is a practical and meaningful activity to celebrate Vietnam Cultural Heritage Day November 23, 2024, a bridge connecting the Central Highlands culture to the ancient land - Phu Tho, contributing to preserving and promoting the precious cultural values of the nation in the context of integration and development of modern society; strengthening solidarity and professional exchange between Dak Lak Museum, Hung Vuong Museum and the system of museums in Vietnam.
