Speaking at the Xiangshan Forum in Beijing (China), Chinese Assistant Foreign Minister Nong Rong announced that Beijing has sent special envoys to countries around the conflict zone and provided humanitarian aid to the Palestinians.

“China will continue to work hard to help relevant parties end conflicts as soon as possible,” Nong Rong said.

Beijing has made diplomatic mediation and “relentless efforts” to promote political solutions to other hot spots in the world such as the conflicts in Ukraine and the Korean peninsula, he said.

On the same day, Kuwaiti Crown Prince Sheikh Meshal al-Ahmad al-Sabah said the country condemned Israel's attack on Gaza and called for a ceasefire.

The statement was made by Mr. Al-Sabah during his opening speech of the regular session of the Kuwaiti parliament. Meanwhile, Israel announced that it had entered the third phase of the conflict with Hamas, expanding its ground attack into the Gaza Strip.

In another development on the same day, according to the Israeli military's announcement, air raid sirens sounded in the area of Eilat city on the Red Sea coast on October 31, and this warning was related to the possibility of enemy aircraft infiltration.

Previously, the Israeli army revealed that it had attacked 300 military targets of the Hamas movement in the Gaza Strip in the past 24 hours, causing many losses to the enemy.
