Fishing boat KH97272TS, captained by Mr. Pham Duoc, residing in Vinh Phuoc ward, Nha Trang city, Khanh Hoa , with 13 crew members, sailed on October 1, 2023. At 09:00 on November 26, 2023, fishing boat KH97272TS was fishing in the sea northeast of Truong Sa island, about 15 nautical miles. During the operation, the fishing boat's winch was broken. The boat contacted the Truong Sa island Logistics - Technical Service Center to request repair support.

The Center's commander guided the fishing boat to Truong Sa Island's dock to fix the problem; then, sent a repair team to the fishing boat to check the damage. Through inspection, the technical staff discovered that the fishing boat's winch system had a broken winch roller, deformed reinforcement bars, and a warped winch shaft, so they disassembled it and brought it back to the workshop for repair. The technical staff of the Truong Sa Island Logistics - Technical Service Center quickly found solutions to rework the winch shaft and repair and reinforce the winch base of the system. After 2 days of active repair, the Center's technical team successfully repaired the damage to the winch system of the fishing boat KH97272TS.
During the repair period, the Center's staff combined with the dissemination of Directive 45/CT-TTg of the Prime Minister , introduced the activities of the ports and fishing villages in Truong Sa archipelago to fishermen; at the same time, presented national flags, personal life jackets, supported 3,000 liters of fresh water and some other necessary necessities to the people. By 3:30 p.m. on November 27, 2023, the Center had successfully fixed the net winch problem and installed, checked the stable operation and handed it over to the fishing boat to continue fishing.
