Accordingly, the Department of Education and Training of Da Nang City requested schools to remind students and parents to be careful when traveling in adverse weather conditions.

Schools notify students and parents living far from school that if they encounter difficulties or dangers while traveling on flooded roads, they can contact the homeroom teacher and ask for permission for students to be absent from school (the school ensures to provide additional support for students).

Based on weather developments, if local flooding occurs, schools and centers under the Department of Education and Training shall report and propose to the Department's leaders to decide whether to allow preschool children, students and trainees of affiliated units to take time off from school.

The Department of Education and Training of districts and towns coordinates with schools to advise the chairmen of the People's Committees of districts and towns to decide whether to let preschool children, primary and secondary school students take time off from school; private universities proactively decide whether students and trainees go to school.

The Department of Education and Training requires that the decision to allow preschool children, pupils, students and university students to take time off from school must be announced early to proactively implement, avoiding disruption and obstacles, especially during travel and boarding implementation.

The Department also requires units and schools to regularly update information on the current heavy rain situation; maintain contact through multiple information channels to proactively respond safely and minimize damage caused by heavy rain.

According to the forecast of the Central Central Hydrometeorological Station: From September 19-20, Da Nang City will experience moderate to heavy rain, and in some places very heavy rain, with the risk of flash floods, landslides and localized flooding, which will have a very negative impact on the environment, threaten people's lives; cause traffic congestion in many places, affecting the movement of vehicles...
