From the early days of just a flight crew serving the Vietnam Oil and Gas industry, the Southern Helicopter Company has grown and developed with many modern aircraft, a team of experienced pilots, and the Company provides a variety of leading helicopter services in the region. Along with its production and business tasks, the Company has also successfully completed its military and defense tasks, combining commercial flights with observation flights, search and rescue, affirming the sovereignty of the sea and islands of the Fatherland and the task of flying private jets to serve the leaders of the Party and State. In which, flights serving oil and gas exploration and exploitation have been the Company's strong service over the past time.

In 2024, the Photo and Video Contest "Happy Vietnam - Happy Vietnam" continues to be organized by the Ministry of Information and Communications in coordination with the Vietnam Association of Photographic Artists on the website. https://happy.vietnam.vn is open to all Vietnamese citizens and foreigners aged 15 and over. The contest aims to honor individuals and groups with positive information products, making practical contributions to the propaganda and promotion of a beautiful image of Vietnam to the world. Thereby helping people in the country, compatriots abroad and international friends access authentic images of the country, Vietnamese people, Vietnam's achievements in ensuring human rights, towards a happy Vietnam.
