According to Mr. Truong Van Son - Chief Inspector of the Department of Transport, the conference was organized to effectively implement the directions of the Government, the Ministry of Transport and the Provincial People's Committee on ensuring traffic safety and order in the transport of goods and passengers. Raising awareness and consciousness of business owners, cooperatives, vehicle owners and drivers in complying with the provisions of law on transport business activities, ensuring safety and avoiding accidents.
At the conference, Mr. Chau Ngoc Lieu - Deputy Head of the Department of Transport, Vehicle and Driver Management (Department of Transport) informed the delegates who are legal representatives of enterprises, cooperatives, business households; transport operators and drivers of transport business units about the new points of Decree No. 41, dated April 16, 2024 of the Government amending and supplementing a number of articles of decrees related to the management of transport activities by car, car driver training services and driver testing services. Decree No. 41 took effect on June 1, 2024. Mr. Chau Ngoc Lieu also provided notable points of Circular No. 41, dated December 29, 2023 (effective February 15, 2024) of the Ministry of Transport regulating the loading of goods on road vehicles.
On behalf of the Department of Transport Inspectorate, Mr. Thai Minh Hoang - Captain of Traffic Inspection Team No. 1 informed about some regulations on business and conditions for passenger transport business by car. Including, passenger transport business on fixed routes, by taxi, passenger transport under contract, tourist transport. Traffic safety assurance in automobile transport business activities. Notably, regulations and instructions on management and use of image data from cameras installed on transport business vehicles; details on traffic safety assurance procedures.
At the conference, automobile transport businesses signed a commitment to comply with legal regulations on business conditions and ensure traffic safety and order.
