IU's management company, Edam Entertainment, recently officially announced this special collaboration project. "IU has completed filming a music video with BTS member V and is preparing for a new album scheduled to be released in the first half of next year." It is expected that this new album will mark IU's return after a break from Piece of Pieces , an album released in December 2021.
