Athlete Supanich Poolkerd lost to his opponent just because of his small bust.

Notably, she only finished 4th and missed out on the bronze medal when she was 0.006 seconds behind her opponent right above her, Saad Al Kaldi.

At the moment of reaching the finish line, the referees determined that Saad Al Kaldi's upper body had crossed the line before Supanich Poolkerd.

After this bitter defeat, the Thai athlete admitted that she lost to her opponent only because her bust was smaller.

“If you have tried your best in the competition, you should not regret losing. I was very sad when I lost to my opponent by 0.006 seconds because my bust was smaller than my opponent.

But anyway, I have overcome myself. Thank you everyone for always accompanying, following and supporting me," Supanich Poolkerd wrote on his personal page.

At the 19th ASIAD, despite placing high expectations on athletics, Thailand only got 2 silver medals thanks to Puripol Boonson (100m) and the 4x100m relay team.

After the team's poor performance, President of the Athletics Federation of Thailand Sant Sarutanond decided to resign.

“I take full responsibility for the disappointing performance of Thai athletics. At this time, I can only resign as President of the Athletics Federation of Thailand.

I hope that everyone will quickly find a more suitable person. I also withdraw from the Thai Olympic Committee,” Mr. Sant Sarutanond announced.
