Visit But Thap Pagoda to see national treasures

But Thap Pagoda, whose Chinese name is Ninh Phuc Tu, is one of the most famous and beautiful ancient temples in the Northern Delta, located in But Thap village, Dinh To commune, Thuan Thanh district, Bac Ninh province. This pagoda not only attracts tourists by its unique and ancient architecture but also by preserving 4 extremely valuable National Treasures.

The four groups of national treasures at But Thap Pagoda include the statue of the Bodhisattva Avalokitesvara with a thousand hands and eyes; three statues of the Three Worlds; the Nine-grade Lotus throne; and the incense table, all of which were created in the 17th century.

The Nine-Piece Lotus Tower at But Thap Pagoda is one of the three most beautiful towers in Vietnam today. With dozens of diverse carvings, considered to have reached the level of perfection with high artistic value, this is worthy of being a typical treasure of the land rich in cultural traditions.
