With the aim of connecting German startups with valuable markets and ecosystems in Asia, the AsiaBerlin Summit 2023 has become a meeting place for leading businesses and prestigious scholars from many participating countries to seek cooperation opportunities in the latest fields and trends such as artificial intelligence (AI), transportation & logistics, energy transition and green technology.
With over 20 years of experience, AsiaBerlin Summit provides an ideal platform to build relationships between investors, startups and many other stakeholders. As one of the Asian countries assessed to have a favorable investment environment and many good incentive policies for investors, Vietnam participates in the AsiaBerlin Summit with the spirit of learning, enhancing understanding and sharing creative ideas about technological solutions as well as products that help save energy and protect the environment.
Speaking at the event, Ms. Nguyen Mai Phuong, Second Secretary, Head of the Economic Diplomacy Department of the Embassy of Vietnam in Germany, said that the AsiaBerlin Summit is an important annual event, gathering many leading scholars and businesses in the fields of AI, digital transformation, energy transformation, green technology, and logistics. In the context of the world entering the “green technology” revolution, enhancing understanding in the fields where Vietnam has the opportunity to cooperate is extremely necessary.
According to Ms. Nguyen Mai Phuong, one of the most exciting news at the AsiaBerlin Summit 2023 event was that right at the opening session, the Mayor of Berlin in his speech mentioned Vietnam with special affection, in which he emphasized that Vietnam is a key partner of Berlin in particular and of Germany in general.

In addition, the Second Secretary, Head of the Economic Diplomacy Department of the Vietnamese Embassy in Germany informed that the organization of the "Embassy Day" event by the Vietnamese Embassy within the framework of the AsiaBerlin Summit, with documents on culture and products promoting Vietnamese cuisine, has received positive feedback from international friends.
Held at the magnificent Berlin City Hall, considered a famous German historical monument in the heart of the capital, the AsiaBerlin Summit is the opening activity for a series of events in the coming time to further promote cooperation between Germany and Vietnam in the fields of energy transition and green technology.
