Customers can make payments for Vietcombank Visa card transactions with just a compact Garmin watch on their wrist. As an open platform, not limited to Android or iOS operating systems, this payment application does not require a connection to the phone. With just a simple touch on the POS machine, Vietcombank Visa cardholders can easily use and enjoy the one-touch payment experience.
Because there is no need to carry a wallet or phone, this payment method is especially suitable for customers who are passionate about traveling and often participate in outdoor sports and indoor physical activities.
Card payments via Garmin Pay are accepted at contactless payment terminals such as convenience stores, pharmacies, taxi companies, restaurants, cafes, retail stores and many other places in Vietnam and many countries around the world.
Garmin's maximum security system allows bank card information to be kept confidential through encryption for each payment transaction. Card numbers are not stored on the system server or the merchant.
Customers only need to enter the password once to authenticate payment requests using Vietcombank Visa card via Garmin Pay within 24 consecutive hours while wearing the watch.
If the customer removes the watch from their wrist or turns off the heart rate monitor, the watch will ask for a passcode re-entry before making a payment. Additionally, Garmin Pay will automatically lock the wallet if the passcode is entered incorrectly three times, and the customer will need to reset the passcode in the Garmin Connect app to continue using it.

Setting up Garmin Pay is simple, just connect your Garmin device to the Garmin Connect Mobile app on your mobile phone and stay connected while creating a Wallet and adding cards:
Step 1: From Garmin Connect, select “More” in the bottom right corner of the app.
Step 2: Select Garmin Pay, then tap “Add Card”.
