Vietnam Junior Open 2025: More than 130 golfers from 9 countries and territories compete

TPO - On June 17, more than 130 young athletes from many countries will compete in the Vietnam Junior Open 2025 (VJO) at Dalat Palace Golf Club (Da Lat).

This is the largest annual event for young golfers in Vietnam, attracting young golf talents from many countries and territories such as Thailand, Malaysia, Philippines, Indonesia, Hong Kong (China), Mongolia, France, China and host Vietnam.

This year’s tournament is held in individual stroke play format over three rounds of 18 holes (54 holes in total). After the first 36 holes, only the top 50% of each group, including tiebreakers, will advance to the final round.

VJO 2025 brings together many familiar faces who have achieved outstanding results in domestic and international youth tournaments.

Notable names include National Runner-up Nguyen Tuan Anh, SEA Games 32 Gold Medalist Le Khanh Hung, Nguyen Quoc Bao Huy, Anna Le, Arena Tran, Than Bao Nghi and Tien Phong Golf Championship Champion Nguyen Bao Chau.

Notably, the three youngest golfers of the tournament, Brandon R. (Thailand), Le Bao Hoang Khang and Tran Thien Nhan, are all only 7 years old and are participating in this big playground for the first time.

All three promise to bring a breath of fresh air, inspiring with their brave competitive spirit and passion for golf that was ignited from a very early age.
