Specifically, at Nguyen Van Linh Street, District 7 (1 drilling point); Nguyen Luong Bang Street, District 7 (2 drilling points); Rung Sac Street, Can Gio District (7 drilling points).

The Ho Chi Minh City Department of Construction requires investors to be responsible for directing construction units to fully implement traffic safety measures such as arranging signs, warning lights, and traffic control forces.
After receiving the site, the construction unit must be responsible for traffic safety and subject to inspection and control by the road management unit and other competent authorities.
Previously, in early May 2025, the Ho Chi Minh City People's Committee approved Vingroup Corporation to research and prepare a proposal for the railway project connecting the city center with Can Gio district under the public-private partnership (PPP) method.
Vingroup Corporation must complete the project proposal dossier and submit it to the competent authority within 1 year from April 28, 2025.
In case the project proposal is not approved by the competent authority, or is not completed within 1 year, the document will be invalid. Vingroup Corporation shall bear all risks and expenses incurred.
The urban railway project connecting the city center to Can Gio was proposed by Vingroup with a length of 48.5 km.
Regarding the implementation progress, the investor proposed to prepare for investment from 2025. Construction will be carried out from 2026 to 2028. It is expected that the project will be tested and handed over in 2028.
