However, Van Xuan flower garden (formerly known as Hang Dau flower garden, Ba Dinh district) after renovation caused many mixed opinions due to being "concretized".

In recent times, the City Party Committee, People's Council and People's Committee have paid great attention to the fields of parks, flower gardens and trees and have included them in the main tasks of Program No. 03-CTr/TU of the City Party Committee. The city has developed a plan to organize and implement investment in the construction of parks in the area in the period of 2021-2025.

Flower gardens are assigned to districts for investment and renovation. Many spacious flower gardens have been upgraded such as Pasteur flower garden (Hai Ba Trung district), Tao Dan flower garden (Hoan Kiem district)... However, Van Xuan flower garden (formerly known as Hang Dau flower garden, Ba Dinh district) after renovation has caused many mixed opinions.

The flower garden has a total area of about 4,200m2 and will be renovated from the end of 2023.

On the occasion of the recent Lunar New Year, the People's Committee of Ba Dinh District officially opened the flower garden after a period of investment and renovation.

However, according to records, after renovation, the flower garden lost many green spaces and fountains. Instead, there are many concrete areas.

The fountain area and lawn are replaced by lights and recessed lighting. Together with the speaker system, it creates a water music performance area.
