The program has examined, screened for early detection of congenital heart defects and provided timely consultation and support on treatment regimens and health care for nearly 1,000 children in the commune. Through examination, 18 children with abnormal congenital heart defects were found; of which, those diagnosed with abnormal congenital heart disease and in difficult circumstances will receive free treatment support from the program.
Also on August 2, VOV Giao thong ( Voice of Vietnam ) coordinated with the charity group "Share love" to present "Support to school" scholarships and gifts to 80 disadvantaged students and ethnic minority students in Lam Son commune with a total value of more than 200 million VND. Thereby encouraging them to overcome difficulties and excel in their studies.
