Thang Binh Commune presented more than 1,200 gifts to families of meritorious people.

DNO - To celebrate the 78th anniversary of War Invalids and Martyrs Day (July 27), Thang Binh commune organized many meaningful gratitude activities.

On the evening of July 26, the Thang Binh Commune Youth Union organized a candlelight ceremony to pay tribute to the heroic martyrs at the Commune Martyrs Memorial Temple. Delegates, union members, and youth of Thang Binh Commune respectfully bowed, remembering and expressing gratitude for the great contributions of the heroic martyrs who sacrificed their blood and bones for the independence and freedom of the nation.

Immediately after the memorial service, local leaders and more than 300 union members and youth offered flowers, incense and lit more than 8,000 candles in gratitude at the martyrs' graves in the area.

Previously, Secretary of the Party Committee of Thang Binh commune Nguyen Van Luom and Permanent Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee Vo Thi Doan Trang visited and presented gifts to 10 families of meritorious people in the commune.

In addition, the Women's Union of Thang Binh commune organized a meeting and presented 22 gifts (VND 400,000/gift) to 22 women's union officials who are children of martyrs, war invalids and sick soldiers in the commune.

On the occasion of the 78th anniversary of War Invalids and Martyrs Day, Thang Binh commune received and presented 1,202 gifts (VND 1 million/gift) to families of meritorious people in the commune.
