The Provincial People's Committee has just issued Decision No. 1753/QD-UBND, dated August 27, 2024, on recognizing Yen Ky commune, Ha Hoa district as meeting new rural standards in 2023.

According to the assessment report, Yen Ky commune achieved 19/19 criteria, 57/57 new rural targets according to regulations. The results of implementing some criteria and targets were at a high level such as: Criterion No. 2 on Traffic (100% of commune roads are asphalted to ensure convenient car travel all year round), criterion No. 5 on Schools (4/5 schools achieved a rate of 80% of schools at all levels meeting national standards) and criterion on the rate of people participating in health insurance (93.36% of people participating in health insurance)...
Yen Ky commune was granted a Certificate of recognition by the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee for meeting advanced new rural standards and was awarded 1 billion VND for investment in building welfare works. At the same time, the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee assigned the People's Committee of Ha Hoa district to preside over and coordinate with the Provincial New Rural Coordination Office to organize the announcement and publicization of the achieved titles; continue to direct the maintenance and improvement of the quality of the criteria in the coming time.
Thus, with the recognition of Yen Ky commune meeting new rural standards in 2023, up to this point, Ha Hoa district has 12 communes meeting new rural standards, bringing the total number of communes meeting new rural standards in the whole province to 137 communes.
