(Dan Tri) - A container truck fire just occurred on An Khe Pass, Tay Son District, Binh Dinh, causing traffic congestion for many hours.
On February 6, the Fire Fighting and Rescue Team of An Khe area, Gia Lai province successfully coordinated to extinguish the container truck fire that occurred on An Khe pass.
The incident occurred at around 9:30 a.m. the same day when driver Huynh Tan Tai (38 years old, residing in Van Vinh commune, Van Canh district, Binh Dinh province) was driving a container truck with license plate 77R-008.xx transporting animal feed from Binh Dinh province to Gia Lai.
While the car was traveling on An Khe Pass, through Tay Thuan Commune, Tay Son District, Binh Dinh Province, the front of the car suddenly caught fire. The fire was accompanied by many loud explosions, causing people nearby to not dare to approach to put out the fire.
The fire caused local traffic congestion on An Khe pass, stretching for several kilometers.
Immediately after receiving the news, the An Khe Fire Fighting and Rescue Team mobilized 2 fire trucks and 16 officers and soldiers to the scene to deploy fire extinguishing work.
By around 11am the same day, the fire was completely extinguished. The cause of the fire is being investigated by the authorities.
