Due to the rain and slippery road, a tractor-trailer was traveling from the center of Van Ban district to the IC16 intersection (Noi Bai - Lao Cai highway) when it suddenly skidded and turned sideways, blocking the roadway, causing local traffic congestion.

According to information from Road Traffic Police Team No. 2, Traffic Police Department, Provincial Police, at 10:00 p.m. on June 27, on National Highway 279, through Son Thuy Commune, Van Ban District, a tractor with license plate 88H-024.27 pulling a semi-trailer with license plate 88R-015.61 was traveling from the center of Van Ban District to IC16 intersection (Noi Bai - Lao Cai Expressway). When reaching Km98, due to the road being under construction and the weak roadbed, the wheels slipped and turned sideways. Fortunately, there were no casualties. Because this is a small road, the semi-trailer of the vehicle blocked the entire roadway, making it impossible for vehicles to pass through.

Immediately after the incident, Traffic Police Team No. 2 arrived promptly, regulated traffic and dispatched vehicles to rescue and clear the road to ensure traffic safety.

It is known that National Highway 279 from the center of Van Ban district to IC16 intersection (Noi Bai - Lao Cai expressway) is under construction and upgrading, so many sections of the roadbed have not been completed. Due to heavy rain in the past, this section of road has become muddy, with some areas of the road surface slippery, making it difficult for vehicles to travel through.
