On the afternoon of July 20, at the intersection of Nguyen Huu Tho - Le Dai Hanh (Khue Trung Ward, Cam Le District, Da Nang City), a traffic accident occurred between a tractor trailer and a motorbike, causing a couple to die on the spot.
According to Cam Le District Police, at around 3:20 p.m. the same day, driver Nguyen Huu Loc (32 years old, residing in La Son village, Loc Son commune, Phu Loc district, Thua Thien - Hue ) was driving a tractor with license plate 43H - 010.75, pulling a trailer with license plate 43R - 035.34 on Nguyen Huu Tho street, in the direction from the city center to Nguyen Tri Phuong bridge.
Couple killed in motorbike accident at intersection
When arriving at the Nguyen Huu Tho - Le Dai Hanh intersection (Khue Trung Ward, Cam Le District), the tractor turned right and collided with a motorbike with license plate 74D1 - 0138 driven by Mr. Vo Thinh (50 years old), carrying his wife, Mrs. Nguyen Thi Nam (44 years old, residing in An Dinh village, Dai Dong commune, Dai Loc district, Quang Nam ) traveling in front in the same direction.
As a result, Mr. Thinh and Mrs. Nam were caught under the trailer and died on the spot.
Upon receiving the news, the Traffic Police Department of Da Nang City Police and Cam Le District Police protected the scene and directed traffic to avoid congestion during rush hour.
At the same time, Cam Le District Police temporarily detained the tractor trailer and driver Nguyen Huu Loc, investigated the scene, and extracted camera footage at the intersection to clarify the cause of the accident that killed the couple.
