All matches of the 2025 AFF Women's Championship will be broadcast live on FPT Play. In the most recent tournament, the Vietnamese women's team only finished fourth overall after losing to Myanmar in the third-place match. The Philippines women's team, with a strong squad of naturalized players, won the championship, while Thailand won the runner-up position.

In this year's tournament, the Vietnamese women's team is expected to regain glory, especially when playing at home (Lach Tray Stadium, Hai Phong ). According to the group draw results, coach Mai Duc Chung and his team are in group A with Thailand, Indonesia and Cambodia.

This is a rather difficult group, because the Thai women's team is always a tough opponent for the Vietnamese girls.

Meanwhile, the Indonesian women's team promises to be an unknown factor in the tournament as they are actively naturalizing. Meanwhile, the Cambodian women's team has been making continuous progress in recent times.

In Group B, the defending champion Philippines will face Myanmar, U23 Australia and Timor Leste. This group is considered not too difficult for the Philippine women's team. Experts predict that the Philippine women's team will be Vietnam's main rival in the race for the 2025 Southeast Asian Women's Football Championship.
