Thanh Hoa has 212 enterprises participating in exports in various industries and fields such as footwear, garments, agricultural products, construction materials, etc. Although export activities in the province have encountered certain difficulties in recent times due to high input material prices and transportation costs, export enterprises in the province have proactively restructured, innovated technology, improved productivity, product quality and sought new markets.

Thanks to that, in the first quarter of 2024, the export activities of goods of enterprises in the province recorded strong growth with an estimated export value of more than 1.5 billion USD, up 60.5% over the same period and equal to 26.3% compared to the annual plan. Exports of informal trade and enterprises outside the province are estimated at 13.1 million USD, up 23.4% over the same period and equal to 21.9% of the plan. Many export items have had good growth such as footwear, garments, paving stones, wood chips, etc.
