1,050 gifts and scholarships to students in difficult circumstances

On the evening of August 1, the 9th Caravan program "Return to my childhood" took place at Ana Marina Nha Trang with the theme "Sharing the same beat". The program was organized by Khanh Hoa - Saigon Business Club in coordination with the Provincial Women's Union, Khanh Hoa Young Entrepreneurs Association, Khanh Hoa Culinary Culture Association. Attending the event were comrades: Nghiem Xuan Thanh - Member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee; Nguyen Long Bien - Member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee; Pham Thi Xuan Trang, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Council; Nguyen Van Thien - Vice Chairman of the Provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee; Nguyen Tan Tuan - former Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, former Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee; Dinh Van Thieu - former Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee.

At the program, the Organizing Committee presented gifts and scholarships to 1,050 students in difficult circumstances, including 450 scholarships, each worth 1 million VND; 200 bicycles, each worth 2 million VND; 400 study gifts, each worth 1 million VND. At the same time, funds were donated to install clean water systems for Cam Thinh Dong Primary School (Nam Cam Ranh Commune) and Vinh Truong Primary School (Nam Nha Trang Ward) with a total value of 200 million VND; and 4 charity houses were donated to households in difficult circumstances in the province, each worth 60 million VND. The total cost of scholarships and gifts was more than 1.6 billion VND.

In addition, Mr. Johnathan Hanh Nguyen - Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Imex Pan Pacific Group said that he will sponsor a total of 1 billion VND to a number of localities in the province to award scholarships to poor students who overcome difficulties.

Speaking at the program, Comrade Nguyen Long Bien acknowledged and praised the valuable contributions and noble gestures of the Khanh Hoa - Saigon Business Club, along with sponsors, businesses and individuals who have accompanied the program, contributing to spreading good values in the community. On behalf of the provincial leaders, he asked the club to continue promoting noble gestures, especially towards students and people in ethnic minority, mountainous and particularly disadvantaged areas of the province, thereby joining hands with the State to support and care for the people with the motto "no one is left behind". The province will continue to create all favorable conditions for charity and social security activities to be implemented effectively and sustainably. Comrade Nguyen Long Bien also encouraged the students to continue to strive to overcome difficulties, excel in their studies and lives, contributing to building their homeland Khanh Hoa to become more civilized and prosperous.

It is known that through 9 times of organization, the Caravan program "Return to my childhood" has awarded gifts and scholarships with a total value of more than 50 billion VND to students and people in the province.

The program also includes special art performances, including two chapters: “Return to Childhood” and “Khanh Hoa Innovation - The Era of Rising”, depicting the beauty of the land and people of Khanh Hoa; the transformation, rising with new aspirations.
