Through the review, 7 cases were discovered with land use right certificates, house ownership in other locations, or houses and land exceeding 10 m2 /person but still participated in the lottery and won the right to buy NHS Trung Van social housing apartments, reducing the opportunities of other people with real housing needs.
According to the review results of the authorities, the investor of the NHS Trung Van project has canceled the purchase rights of these 7 cases and organized a second draw to determine replacement buyers, still at the price of 19.5 million VND/ m2 .

According to the Ministry of Construction , in the first 6 months of 2023, 9 social housing projects and housing for industrial park workers have started construction nationwide with a total of about 18,768 units. Nationwide, 307 social housing projects in urban areas have been completed, with about 157,100 units; 418 projects with about 432,400 units are still being implemented.
At a meeting with the Ministry of Construction, explaining the opinions of National Assembly deputies on the draft revised Housing Law, Deputy Prime Minister Tran Hong Ha said that the beneficiaries of social housing support policies (renting, renting, buying) should be expanded with simple and easily identifiable criteria, minimizing requirements for documents and administrative procedures such as housing status, income level, etc.
